SEE Exam Routine 2079 B.S or 2022 A.D
SEE Exam routine 2079 has been published by the Examination Board of Nepal. SEE Exam is scheduled to start from Baisakh 9, 2079. National Examination Board (NEB), Office of the controller of the examination, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur is responsible to publish the SEE routine 2022 or SEE routine 2079 B.S for the students who were in class 10 in 2078 B.S. The SEE examination board had been planning to conduct the SEE examination from the second week of Baisakh, 2079 B.S, and accordingly, the SEE routine has already been published to start from Baisakh 9, 2079.After successful completion of the SEE examination, the students shall be promoted to grade 11. In contrast to the practices of the previous two years when the students were literally promoted to grade 11 through internal evaluation of the students due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year the Examination Controller office has planned to conduct the physical examination at the respective schools and the routine of SEE Examination 2079 has been made public as NEB publishes the routine.
Exam centers have been set up in 63 districts to prepare the examination schedule, according to the Examination Control Office (Grade 10). Arjun Rayamajhi, the Controller of Examinations, stated that the remaining 15 districts are prepared to select the centers in the next few days. Controller of Examinations Rayamajhi said, "We have started to manage the examination by keeping the examination center in the school and taking the examination by maintaining the control center," adding that all district education coordination units have been instructed to maintain the number of centers so that it does not increase from last year.
Because the board meeting resolved to hold the SEE examination in Baisakh 2079 and Jestha 2079 of class 12, preparations are underway to hold the examination schedule from Baisakh 9, 2079 B.S. The board's chairman, Mahashram Sharma, stated that making the scheduled public would be no problem because the local level election is almost guaranteed to take place in Jestha. Following the announcement of the two-tier examination month, the board held a virtual meeting with the state's Ministry of Social Development, all seven state offices under the board's jurisdiction, secretaries of the state's Ministry of Social Development, and the head of the district education coordination unit.
During the process, the majority of them came to the conclusion that the state government could not conduct the examination by going beyond the provisions of the constitution and the education act. He believed that because the examination was not specified in the Education Act, the state could not administer it. The National Examination Board will be in charge of the final examination center for class 10 and the examination center for class 12 according to the eighth amendment to the Education Act, which was passed in 2076. Even after the country has gone into federalism and the retention of the area has been abolished, the final examination of class 10 (SEE) will be performed by the region, according to the Education Act.
Similarly, sub-section 4 (t) of Section 5 of the Education Act explicitly states that the National Examination Board is responsible for conducting examinations for classes 10 and 12. As it was concluded in the meeting of the board that it is not possible to take this examination from the state or school unless the Education Act is amended, the board has decided to conduct the examination from the center. In the meeting, the issue of taking an examination from the center with the help of the state and local levels was discussed.
During the discussion, it was suggested that the model of the SEE examination should be similar to that of class 12. An official who participated in the meeting told Nepal Samacharpatra, "We have suggested to send the question papers online and make arrangements to take the exam from the home center so that there is no congestion due to covid infection." He said that it will be done. He said, "As soon as the discussions are over, we will hold a meeting in a few days and decide on all the issues."
The Examination Control Office (Class 10) has started the examination process after it was almost certain to conduct the SEE examination in the second week of Baisakh. Controller of Examinations Arjun Rayamajhi informed that the process of preparation of question papers for the SEE examination has already started.
The board is preparing to use last year's answer book this year. The board had already delivered the answer scripts to all the district centers, board offices, and state offices. The answer scripts have been kept in the concerned bodies after the examination was postponed at the last moment. Some schools have said that the answer sheets were used in class 11 and 12 examinations. The board has demanded a record of all the answer scripts.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology had decided to conduct the examination through internal assessment by amending the education regulations last year stating that the risk of Covid-19 infection has not decreased. With this decision, the SEE examination was started on 13th Jestha 2078.
As the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination to the people of various age groups in Nepal has been being successful, the SEE Examination committee has prepared to conduct the SEE exam 2079 from the 2nd week of Baisakh, i.e from Baisakh 9, 2079 B.S.
